Tell Me About It
After discovering that Uncle Li betrayed her and the Fraternitas Regni Occulti burned down her family’s house, Caity Mac Fireland retreats to a boarding school that allows her to travel around the globe.
With the murderous Fraternitas hot on her heels, Caity continues to mobilize the planet’s young people as she attempts to fulfill the Mayan prophecy.
Helping—and sometimes hindering— Caity in her quest are her best friend Justine, boyfriend Alex, and new classmate Jules D’Aubigne, an intriguing French boy.
My Thoughts
I had finished The Daykeeper's Grimoire (Prophecy of Days, #1) a while ago so I was worried that reading this after a big break would not make sense. I shouldn't have worried, although we pick up straight were we left off in book 1, you don't miss out on anything.

The Serpents Coil focuses more on the Mayan Calender, Flower of Life, The Three Hares and other relevant ancient symbols. We follow Caity and Justine as they travel around the world, following clues and solving the mystery of the symbols all while trying to rescue Uncle Li.

If I was to read the information that is given in this book on a piece of paper I would not even attempt to read it, but in this book you can't help but want to continue reading to see what happens next.

I am unsure whether this is the last book in the series or if there are more to follow, it ends in a way that can lead to both resolutions.
