Stacking the Shelves/ Clock Rewinders

Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is the brain-child of Tara from 25-Hour Books and Amanda from On A Book Bender. I am using it to share what has happened this past week on my blog, what is going on in the blogosphere, and also my reads and what incoming books I have received.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. I have decided to take part in Clock Rewinders as a trial to highlight things on my blog and what has been going on.

Recap on Much Loved Books

Monday-My review of an emotionally charged book, Anthem for Jackson Dawes by Celia Bryce
Tuesday-My review of the last book in the Mindjackers series, Free Souls by Susan Kaye quinn
Wednesday-My sign up post for 2013 TBR Pile Challenge
Thursday-My 5 star review of Shadows by Paula Weston

In my world

After a week and a half off work I am now back in, recovered after eating all the Christmas food and chocolates but missing the extra sleep.  I have spent my time off reading, relaxing, and making gingerbread people with my niece (4yrs) and nephew (9yrs).  After flour fights, gingerbread crumb fights, decoration eating, and a few people eaten to ensure they were ok to be consumed by the rest of the family, we ended up with some nice looking and tasting biscuits.

What's going on in the blogosphere

Rachel posted the UK covers for With All My Soul and Oath Bound on her facebook page.

My Reads

Just finished- The Lost Girl by Sangu Mandanna
Currently Reading- Black Spring by Alison Croggon
Up Next- Code by Kathy Reichs

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

I think I went overboard the past few weeks. I obviously stalked Amazon and I managed to pick up a few free books that I am hoping are as good as they sound.  I am looking forward to starting my TBR pile very soon and all my goodies from Liz have been added to it.
I am a big fan of Kelley Armstrong, and the two books, Amityville Horrible and Forbidden, have both been released as special limited edition  copies, unfortunately my funds can't stretch to be able to afford the limited editions, so I have resigned myself to just buying kindle versions of the books.
I picked up Incarnate and Magic in the Shadows with some Christmas money, and although I have already read, and loved, The Lost Prince, I couldn't resist picking up a UK paperback version to go on my shelves.
H.I.V.E and Itch were both from Audible UK via a TV offer that I managed to catch on TV in one of the rare moments I was actually watching it.  By registering using the code they provided you got 2 free credits.

What exciting things did you get this week,  leave a link for me to check them out.
