Tell Me About It
Love. Romance. Sex. There's a first time for everything...

As far as Bliss Edwards can tell, she's the last virgin standing, certainly amongst her friends. And she's determined to deal with the 'problem' as quickly and simply as possible.

But her plan for a no-strings one night stand turns out to be anything but simple. Especially when she arrives for her first class and recognises her hot new British professor.

She'd left him naked in her bed just 8 hours earlier...

My Thoughts
I have heard a lot about Losing It over the past couple of months and when the offer came up to review it I jumped at the chance.  I started reading this book about 8pm and I had it finished just over 3 hours later, it was that good.
Losing It is told in first person narrative by Bliss Edwards, the protagonist, and we get to see her stumble around her feelings for Garrick, someone who she left naked in her bed, and her teacher.
We are first introduced to Bliss as she has a battle of wills with her friend, Kelsey, who is determined to get Bliss to hand in her v-card.

Bliss was a character who I instantly loved.  The author has made it easy to feel what Bliss is feeling, nervousness, excitement, doubt, embarrassment, and when she does something right you want to cheer her along.  The constant push and pull between Garrick and Bliss kept you engrossed in the pages but also never sure about what would happen next  I wanted to smush the pair together and let them be done with it.  The sexual tension between this pair only adds to the story and any time they almost get down and dirty something's puts a stop to their plans.  After the first couple of interruptions I wanted to lock this pair in a room somewhere away from the world.

While Losing It does focus on Bliss and Garrick, there are a few others who are involved in Bliss's life, one of them is Cade, one of her good friends who she maybe does or doesn't have feelings for, and who also maybe does or doesn't have feelings for her.  Add trying to juggle friendships, keep her feelings hidden, deal with Cade and try to keep up with school is no easy feat and we get a first hand look into how Bliss deals with all of this, including how she celebrates.

Every single character in this book plays an important role in this story and it wouldn't be complete without them there.  There are also a lot of moments where I laughed with the antics or what a character was saying, and one I really loved was the thoughts of a hungover Bliss.
"I am in love with this burrito. I would marry it if I didn't want to eat it so badly".

I LOVED Losing It, from the very first page right down to the last word, it is the perfect mix of love, romance, sexy times, and friendship.  While Faking It isn't focused on this duo, I am looking forward to reading Cade's story.
