Last weekend I had the chance to travel down to London and visit Walker Books again for another blogger event. This time, the theme was summer based, going along with a few recent publications Remix & I'll Bring You the Sun, and the event was WalkerFictionFest.
Before it all began, we got to see a video from Patrick Ness telling us about his new book, The Rest of Us Just Live Here, and also reading an excerpt.
There was also a cover reveal of City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments series, and a talk about the design process that Mila Furstova went through.
We got to take a look at some new books coming and hear from the authors of Drop, The Next Together, and Frail Human Heart. who attend the event. We got to hear a snippet from Drop, read by Katie, Lauren told us about her book, The Next Together, and we got to see the design process, and Zoe read us a snippet from Frail Human Heart
We then got to hear about some interesting upcoming books, and a few I have my eye on.
I had a great time mingling with authors, publicists, and fellow bloggers. A few write ups about the event can be found at the following blogs
