Tell Me About It
The year is 1992, and no one on the rock music scene is hotter than Kiro Manning, the lead singer of Slacker Demon. With a multi-platinum record, total ownership of the Billboard charts, sold-out concerts, and sinful amounts of money, Kiro can have anything - and anyone - he wants.

So when a dark-haired, conservative beauty rebuffs him at a concert after-party, his first thought is, "Who the hell does she think she is?" His second thought: "How do I make her mine?" Kiro has always loved a good challenge, but not every girl wants to get involved with a rock god. Especially this girl.
He let her go that night, but he never forgot her. And when they met again, he vowed not to give up again so easily.
As the world worshipped Kiro, he came to worship the girl, who became everything he never knew he needed. The only girl he would ever love. His Emily.
My Thoughts
I picked Kiro's Emily up the day it was released, and it has sat waiting to be read for nearly a year. I don't even know why I didn't pick this one up sooner, it's only a short read so it could fit in between books without interrupting my reading schedule.

I really enjoyed getting to see Kiro and Emily when they were younger, seeing how it all started, especially knowing how it would all end. How this couple was introduced was something I didn't expect, but I did like how Emily was not who Kiro expected, and how she acted was not something he was used to, which forced him to change his ways. I really liked how Kiro and Emily were friends first, and how they stayed in touch even when Kiro was touring.

We get to see a baby Rush, who is absolutely adorable, and we see Harlow's first scary moments of her life. Reading Kiro's Emily shows you how much Kiro changed for Emily, and who he used to be, seeing how much he has overcome to be with her, then and now.

Final Verdict
Kiro's Emily was a good addition to this series and gives us a great insight into life before Harlow.
