Tell Me About It
Seraphina’s keeping a secret from her Wandering team: she’s perfecting her fighting skills. But telling Sam and Bishop the truth would only alert them to her plan: to go back in time, save her Mom, and finish what she started. With the help of Turner, Bishop’s handsome twin, she progresses toward her goal but plummets deeper into dangerous territory where the lines of friendship and romance are blurred. One passionate kiss changes everything, leading Sera to unravel a shocking web of family secrets, heartbreaking ulterior motives, and sinister agendas. Love and lies collide in a haunting climax, where the truest souls may not survive.

My Thoughts
After finishing Wander Dust I couldn't wait to see what happened next, when the author contacted me regarding a reviewing her second book, Protecting Truth I jumped at the chance.  Wander Dust was a great read, Protecting Truth was amazing.
We meet back up with Sera during break from school, Bishop, her protector, is back home in London and Sam, her seer, is away.  Sera takes this opportunity to train and practise fighting without her team members being there, and with the use of Turners holograms, she is getting faster and more skilful.
Sera is keeping her training a secret, wanting to wait until she meets Cece to get revenge and rescue her Mom.  But hers aren't the only secrets that are being hidden.  As the story progress an old familiar face makes an unwelcome re-apperence  Perpetuna is back and is tormenting Sera and hounding her for a crystal that Sera knows nothing about.

Protecting Truth has more time travelling and some fantastic events with even better fashion, all hosted by Gabe of course who is even more flamboyant and exuberant.  There is more fighting and more mysteries to solve.  Turner, Bishop's twin brother, is on the scene and is constantly in the background trying to get Sera to notice him, and notice him she does but for all the wrong reasons.
The romance between Bishop and Sera is still there, and there are a few more couples, but I felt like Sera wasn't in it with her whole heart but as we found out more a HUGE secret is revealed, one that I did not expect but one that also explained things.  Sera is stronger and tougher in every way, and stands up for herself on quite a few occasions.  After the last pages were finished I felt sorry for what she went through, but I am looking forward to seeing how she puts this sadness and anger to use.

I don't want to say too much about Protecting Truth as there are so many things going on I don't want to spoil any of it for you, just know that I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and I can't wait to read the next instalment and find out what happens next, although I could have done without the cliff hanger at the end.  Anyone who has read Wander Dust NEEDS to pick up a copy now, and those of you who haven't read it yet need to get a copy soon.
