Tell Me About It
Tristan Coleman has survived the change from Clann magic user to vampire, much to Savannah Colbert's joy—and despair. By changing the Clann's golden boy and newly elected leader, even to save him from death, she has unleashed a fury of hatred and fear that they cannot escape.

As the Clann and the vampire council go to war, Tristan and Sav face a new threat—a fracturing of the all-consuming bond they share. To fight for peace, they must forge a new trust and risk everything to take down their deadliest enemy, even as they must run for their lives. Soon they will learn that some bonds are stronger than love—and some battles cannot be won without sacrifice.

My Thoughts
I have enjoyed this series from the very fist book, and it feels like I have been waiting forever for Consume to be released.  Consume picks up after the events of Covet, with Savannah and her Dad helping get control of himself and his abilities, in a hut in the middle of nowhere.

Consume was more than I expected, not only are we still dealing with the Vamps v Coven in a war that threatens the human population, but a new spanner has been thrown into the works involving BioMed and Synthetic blood.  A lot of people, especially the Coven, are against Synthetic blood, but Savannah and Tristan want to encourage Emily to plant the idea into their Mother's head, giving them an extra source of food but also extra business for the company.

A lot of things happen in Consume and I am trying not to say too much or spoil what happens in the pages.  A lot of the book revolves around Tristan and Savannah's, forced to go on the run, and their attempts to reveal the truth about events that happen.  With the help of a very heavily pregnant Emily they are able to find others on their side who are willing to reveal the truth and reveal all to members of the Clann who are not in the know.  The journey is long and hard for all involved, and they find themselves also relying on the help of Savannah's Mother and Father.

I enjoyed every single page of Consume, I was on edge wondering if they would be caught, if they could discover the truth and let it out in the open.  It had me wanting to know more, wanting to find out the real truth myself and discover who is really on their side.  The ending....what an ending it was.  The final chapters are nothing but action with fights between the Clann and the Vamps.  The final chapter ends this series perfectly with a few nice additions to the character list that I would love to learn more about, and some new tasks for Tristan and Savannah.  A spin-off series for these books would be some I would definitely read.
