Tell Me About It
Jessica arrives back in town to find her best friend missing and the most powerful witch in the country is blaming her for it. But before they can move to save her, the group is attacked.

On the run, Jessica and Rourke head to the mountains. Several surprises await them, but in order to save her father they are forced to leave for New Orleans early.

Arriving on the Vampire Queen's doorstep unexpectedly, and bringing trouble on their heels, the Sects are thrown into an all out war. The vicious
skirmish ends up forcing the vamps and Jessica to fight on the same team.

The Vamp Queen ends up owing Jessica, but what Jessica doesn't realize is just how soon she'll have to cash it in...
My Thoughts
With the cliff hanger from Hot Blooded I knew I had to read Cold Blooded and find out what happens next. Cold Blooded picks up where Hot Blooded left off. Jessica and her pack must find Marcy and save her from whomever took her, but they must seek help from the witches to do so.
Cold Blooded is full of twists and turns, we get to meet some new faces, but also familiar faces from the previous books. We also get a fist hand look at Rourke's beast, and lets just say I would definitely not want to meet it in a dark alleyway, or even in a nice light open space.

Cold Blooded is packed full of magic, action, and suspense, and getting to see Jessica wield her power the way she does was spectacular. I found myself devouring Cold Blooded wanting to know what happens next and the battle at the end, what a supernatural showdown it was.  I loved getting to re-visit these characters again, and finally see Jessica and Rourke get some action.

While I did enjoy Cold Blooded there were a few parts that I felt like the plot was rushed. How could so much stuff happen in just one day, I did struggle to get my head around that part, but then on the other hand it also added to the urgency of it all, having to sort things out to find her dad, to save herself and her pack.

If you have read the previous books in this series then you have to read Cold Blooded, it is another great instalment in this series and I am looking forward to reading what happens in the next book and also what else Jessica is capable of.
