Tell Me About It
Can you hear Atlantia breathing?

For as long as she can remember, Rio has dreamt of the sand and sky Above—of life beyond her underwater city of Atlantia. But in a single moment, all her plans for the future are thwarted when her twin sister, Bay, makes an unexpected decision, stranding Rio Below. Alone, ripped away from the last person who knew Rio’s true self—and the powerful siren voice she has long hidden—she has nothing left to lose.

Guided by a dangerous and unlikely mentor, Rio formulates a plan that leads to increasingly treacherous questions about her mother’s death, her own destiny, and the complex system constructed to govern the divide between land and sea. Her life and her city depend on Rio to listen to the voices of the past and to speak long-hidden truths.
My Thoughts
When I first heard Ally was writing another book I couldn't wait to get hold of it, so when I saw the sneak peak on netgalley I had to know what this book was all about.

Atlantia was not what I was expecting, I didn't really know anything about this book other than the title, so I was expecting mermaids, but Atlantia is full of humans, who actually live in the sea in a protective dome, bubble, place. This new world sounds great, and I can't wait to actually delve into it more and really find out how it all works and how these people survive.

Rio and Bay are twins, but also unique, and I am interested in seeing what Rio is going to do given the circumstances that Bay left her in. Rio also has her own secrets  that have been accidentally discovered, and I am wondering what is going to happen now.

Ally has given us enough information to get some detail, but not all, and certainly not enough to let us figure it all out.I am really looking forward to getting hold of this book.

  1. I was lucky enough to get the chance to borrow an ARC of this one and definitely enjoyed the interesting world and discovering some of its secrets ;-). Are you thinking this one is a standalone? I couldn't really tell from Goodreads but it seems like it?

  2. I think she mentioned on her page it was a stand alone

Thank you for taking a few moments to comment.
